The main phase of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Sustainable Destination Management and Marketing” was successfully completed in Corfu from 13 to 17 October 2025. The programme was organized by the Department of Tourism of the Ionian University within the framework of the Erasmus+ initiative, fostering a dynamic environment for learning, international collaboration, and exchange of experiences. The programme was coordinated by Professor Christina Beneki and Assistant Professor Naoum Mylonas.

The successive extensions of the exhibition "...about the Desired University - The Ionian Academy and Lord Guilford" reflect the great success of this initiative.

On Monday, October 13, 2025, the in-person educational part of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) of the Department of Tourism of the Ionian University on "Sustainable Destination Management & Marketing" will begin, which will include a series of seminars, group collaboration of participants in international groups, as well as an educational excursion to points of interest in Corfu. The University Gym of the Ionian University will hold its first hike on Sunday 16/02/2025, in the area of Nymphes. Those interested can register on the days and times of the program, to the responsible teachers or upon request with the hiking manager Angeliki Mavropoulou. Due to limited places, a strict first-come, first-served order will be observed.

The Panteion University, the Municipality of Kallithea, the Kallithea Chess Club and the Korydallos Chess Club, announce the Panhellenic Inter-University Chess Championships 2024. Specifically, two events will be held, the Individual Inter-University Chess Championships 2024 and the Team Inter-University "Planted" Chess Championships 2024, on 19 December 2024 in Athens.
