Giotis Georgios: Curriculum VitaeDr. Georgios Giotis teaches at the Department of Tourism, Ionian University, Greece. He has previously taught at the University of Ioannina, the University of Patras, and the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus. He holds a PhD in Labour Economics from the Department of Economics at the University of Ioannina.
He has contributed to the organization of scientific conferences in economics and has delivered lectures in economics seminars. In addition, he has presented research papers at numerous international scientific conferences in the fields of economics and meta-analysis. Since 2004, he has participated in several European and national research projects.
He has authored a book, numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, encyclopedia entries, and conference papers. He is a member of MAER-Net (Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network) and TRN (The Replication Network). His main research interests include Labour Economics, Macroeconomics, Tourism Economics, Applied Econometrics, Meta-Analysis, Research Synthesis, Labour Market Institutions, Minimum Wage Research, and Tourism Development.
