Dr. Georgios Giotis teaches at the Department of Tourism, in the Ionian University. He has previously taught in the Universities of Ioannina, Patras, as well as in the TEI of Epirus. He holds a PhD degree in Labor Economics from the Department of Economics of the University of Ioannina. He has participated in the organization of economic conferences, he has lectured in seminars on economics, and he has presented scientific papers in international conferences all over the world regarding the economic science and meta-analysis techniques. He has worked for various European projects since 2004. He has also written a book and several scientific papers.  He is a member of MAER-Net (Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network) and TRN (The Replication Network). His main research interests are: Labor economics, Economics of Social Policy, Tourism Economics, and Meta-Analysis.
