Invitation to Participate in the 2nd Workshop “Needs and Priorities Analysis for Skills Development through Artificial Intelligence in Tourism and Hospitality”

We invite undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as PhD candidates, to participate in the online workshop entitled: “Needs and Priorities Analysis for Skills Development through Artificial Intelligence in Tourism and Hospitality”, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation project “AI-Enabled Skill-Building for Tourism and Hospitality: Bridging the Industry–Academia Divide (BIAD)” (WP2).

The project is funded under the programme ERASMUS-EDU-2025-PI-ALL-INNO-EDU-ENTERP – Alliances for Education and Enterprises (Project Coordinator: Prof. Luca Reitano, Forma Camera, Rome, Italy).

The workshop will be conducted online via an MS Teams link.

IMPORTANT:
Only students who have NOT attended the 1st workshop are eligible to participate in this workshop. Each student may participate in only one of the two workshops.

The active participation of students is considered particularly important, as the workshop aims to identify current educational and training needs in critical thematic areas, including digital skills, environmental (green) skills, and resilience skills, which are essential for sustainable, digitally advanced, and resilient tourism.

Workshop Thematic Areas:

The workshop will include discussions and activities in the following thematic areas:

• Market trends affecting skills in tourism
• Digital skills
• Environmental skills
• Resilience skills
• Educational needs and learning formats

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• contribute to shaping future educational initiatives of the project
• gain priority access to free BIAD training programmes
• receive a certificate of attendance (full attendance and participation in all activities are required)

All participants are required to complete, sign, and submit the Participant Consent Form together with their registration. Participation without submission of the form is NOT possible.
