
Vasiliki Vrana is a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the International Hellenic University, Greece, specializing in Information Technology and the Internet in Service Promotion. She currently serves as Vice Rector of Personnel, Student Welfare, and Lifelong Education. She has extensive teaching experience, having served as a tutor at both the Hellenic Open University and the Open University of Cyprus. Additionally, she worked as an Education Consultant in secondary education for three years. She has been actively involved in numerous national and international funded research projects and has a long-standing record of leadership within academia. Dr. Vrana holds a BSc in Mathematics, an MSc in Information Systems from the Hellenic Open University, and a PhD in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research focuses on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in tourism and hospitality, Web 2.0 applications in tourism, health, and politics, as well as Artificial Intelligence. She is a prolific researcher, having authored two books and more than 150 publications in academic journals, edited book chapters, and international conference proceedings.
